City By The Bay

For the first time since Ryan and I lived in California, we finally made it back to the Bay Area. Ryan went out for a Game Developers Conference and I met him out there to enjoy the warmer weather and relaxation.

As you can see, it is full on SPRING there. Which was fun to enjoy...at least until we came home to a foot of snow!

The whole time that we lived in the Bay Area we never made it out to Alcatraz, so we made it a point to go out this trip. Despite the whole prison thing, the island was actually quite beautiful and had a nice rustic feel.

Of course you can't go to San Francisco without eating tons of yummy food, so we had Italian night, Chinese night, Japanese night, Sourdough, Clam Chowder, Fresh Crab, Ghirardelli Sundae... I think you get the point. Yummy! And now I am fat!
